Carson Warner Skatepark volunteers successfully lobbied our regional insurance carrier to allow coverage that was previously denied to skateparks throughout the Redwood Empire. Our volunteers have appeared before the California State Assembly and Senate to successfully convince them of the passage of AB1296, the Skateboarding Bill. In October 97 Governor Pete Wilson signed this bill into law which will limit liability of skateparks and by so doing open the door for all California communities to provide safe and enjoyable parks for their youth. We are proud of our successful efforts.
